Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

OtterSlide Accounting is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Where we are today

We're working toward that goal and we don't claim full conformance yet. We've reviewed our pages with automated checks and a manual review of their structure, color contrast, and keyboard use. We haven't yet had a third-party accessibility audit or testing with a range of assistive technologies. We'll update this statement when that changes.

What we've done

• Every page has a "Skip to main content" link that appears when you press Tab.
• You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and the item you're on always shows a visible focus outline.
• Pages use headings, lists, and landmarks so screen readers can move through them.
• Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA color contrast in both the light and dark themes.
• Decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers, and meaningful images have text alternatives.
• Form fields have visible labels, and required fields are marked in text.
• The site respects your device's "reduce motion" setting.
• Layouts adapt to small screens, and text can be enlarged using your browser's zoom.

Known limitations

The OtterSlide add-on runs inside Google Sheets, so how you read and move through your data depends on Google Sheets' accessibility features and on your assistive technology. The Google Workspace Marketplace and the QuickBooks Online sign-in are run by Google and Intuit, and their accessibility is their responsibility. Both companies publish their own accessibility information.

We haven't tested every combination of browser and assistive technology, so some pages may still have problems we don't know about yet.
